Our Teaching Team
Our instructors are not just teachers — they are movement specialists, certified practitioners, and lifelong students of the body. Each brings a unique history in dance, rehabilitation, athletics, and performance to every session they lead.
MSPT · NCPT · Owner · Polestar® Educator
Roxana Molina-Lopez, MSPT, NCPT — known to many as Roxy — is the owner of Myofascial Healing & Pilates, a licensed Physical Therapist, and a respected educator for Polestar Pilates. With over two decades of experience, she brings a highly specialized and integrative approach to movement, rehabilitation, and wellness.
Roxy earned her Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Florida International University in 2002 and has since dedicated her career to bridging the gap between clinical rehabilitation and intelligent movement. She specializes in the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release approach, combining hands-on therapy with Pilates-based rehabilitation to support healing, restore function, and improve overall quality of life.
As a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT), Roxy also plays an active role in educating the next generation of movement professionals through her work with Polestar Pilates. Her teaching reflects a deep understanding of the body, blending science, precision, and intuitive care.
Her foundation in movement began early through modern dance, where she developed a lasting appreciation for expression and body awareness. Today, she continues to draw from that background, integrating fluidity and control into her therapeutic and Pilates work.
Beyond the studio, Roxy enjoys an active and creative lifestyle, including dancing, biking, spending time in nature, and exploring art, music, and interior design. Above all, she is passionate about lifelong learning, teaching, and raising her two sons.
Her mission is to help clients move better, feel stronger, and live without limitation through a personalized, thoughtful, and results-driven approach.

She holds a BFA from the University of Florida and deep academic grounding in anatomy, kinesiology, and movement analysis.

Lori has been an athlete for most of her life, with a strong foundation in gymnastics, running, and yoga. However, after years of high-impact training — including completing multiple marathons — she experienced a knee injury that ultimately required surgery. That turning point reshaped her approach to fitness and led her to discover a more sustainable, intelligent way to move.
During her recovery, Lori was introduced to Polestar Pilates — an experience that not only restored her strength, but transformed her understanding of the body. Through Pilates, she developed a deep appreciation for efficient, low-impact movement and the importance of alignment, control, and longevity in physical health.
Today, Lori brings that perspective into every session she teaches. Her approach is highly individualized, meeting each client where they are and guiding them toward their personal goals with care, precision, and encouragement. Known for her warm and approachable nature, she values building genuine connections with clients — and she speaks Spanish, adding another layer of connection with the diverse community she serves.

NCPT · Polestar® Certified · Lolita's Legacy™ Certified
Christine was introduced to Pilates as part of her rehabilitation program after suffering a neck injury in 2014. What began as recovery evolved into a profound passion. Five years later, she became Business Manager at a local Pilates studio and was introduced to Pilates Elder Lolita San Miguel — one of only two people to have received a certification directly from Joseph Pilates himself.
Inspired by this lineage, Christine pursued a comprehensive certification through Lolita's Legacy™ Pilates Teacher Training Program in 2020, training with Master Educators and earning the privilege of teaching Lolita on several occasions.
Most recently, Christine joined Myofascial Healing & Pilates and completed her second comprehensive certification through Polestar Pilates® in 2026, further deepening her knowledge of Pilates and its rehabilitation applications. She is passionate about helping clients build strength, balance, and flexibility through intelligent, safe, and purposeful movement.

When foot surgery literally knocked Annette off her feet, she couldn't practice yoga. A friend introduced her to mat Pilates — and a new love affair was born. A few decades later, intense back pain following the birth of her first child brought her to her knees. After years of PT-hopping, she finally found the practitioner who introduced her to Pilates equipment for the first time.
Through that experience, Annette learned what she now shares with every client: that with regular practice, Pilates leads to a pain-free life for all bodies — whether you're an athlete, a mom, or a retired grandpa. She chose Pilates over back surgery, and eventually trained to help others feel truly comfortable in their own skin.
Annette is a certified Polestar Pilates instructor and a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher through NPCP. When she isn't teaching, she juggles writing with her family and a house full of naughty animals.
